doctrinal belief, the members of this Church recognize Jesus
Christ as Lord, and the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of
God, and agree and accept it as their only rule of faith and
practice. We declare our adherence to the doctrines and
teachings of the Holy Scriptures and the statement of the
Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist
Convention in 2000. We state our purposes to be: The
maintenance of the worship of God and the observance of the
Christian ordinances; The study of Christian principles and
the practice of the Christian life as revealed and taught in the
Holy Scriptures; The salvation of the lost at home and abroad;
and The promotion and advancement of Christ's Kingdom
throughout the world.
Matthew 22:37-40, "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the
Lord your God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and
with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as
thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the
